Novice Cocker 15th January 2025, Bagots Park, Abbots Bromley

Once again, thank you so much to Samuel Sayce and Bagots Park for putting on an amazing day!! As ever, we were shown some superb ground and perfect number of birds for the dogs to flush and Paul Woodcock, Philip Walton, Jon Fern and Graham Burton to shoot. The trial, kindly judged by James & Claire Starkey ran like clockwork with Stewards Jane Burton, Helen Fern, Cherryl Jones and Chief Steward Julia Bott ensuring everyone was in the right place at all times!

Garry Watson had a job to carry game, whilst Vanessa King was able to pick up any stray birds with the lovely Custard.

Many thanks to Bob Seaman and Helen Seaman for a fabulous breakfast enjoyed by all and soup and sandwiches on our return to the shoot room were welcomed by helpers and competitors alike! A close call between the finishers, James & Claire gave the competitors an excellent briefing of their decision.
